STUDY IN SLOVAKIA

Slovakia is not only a country with beautiful nature and with interesting things to do in your free time, it also offers many options to study at our local universities.

If you would like to study in a country full of different interesting possibilities like doing sports, going to nature, to mountains, visiting castles, receiving information about cultural heritage and much more, Slovakia will definitely welcome you warmly.  

It is possible to study in English in this country. Many young people come here to study Medicine. Some of the study programs are available at our oldest and largest Comenius university in Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia, located on the border with Austria. Faculty of Medicine offers these study programs: General Medicine and Dental Medicine.

If you would wish to study General Medicine, you can choose between these cities: Bratislava (the west of the country), Martin (the north of the country) or Košice (the east of the country).

They all have very interesting places to visit or activities to do.

In Martin, you would attend The Jessenius faculty of Medicine, and you could also enjoy many hiking trails. Great Fatra Mountains are well known for the suitable conditions for cycling and challenging day trips.

If you like the ghotic period in architecture, you would be happy to see St. Elisabeth Cathedral in Košice, in terms of population the second largest city in Slovakia. Within the Košice region you can visit many national parks, unique caves, castles or manor.

Some of you might wish to study Dental medicine – both, Faculties of Medicine in Bratislava and in Košice are available for such a studium. Every studium of the ones mentioned above lasts for 6 years, if you choose to study Pharmacy in Bratislava, it lasts 5 years.

There is another group of young people coming from countries like Spain, India, Turkey, France, Egypt etc., who are more focused on studying technical subjects, so they choose to study at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava or at the Technical University in Košice.

These days many foreigners are interested in starting doing business in Slovakia. Once you receive a study visa you can also do business in this country. Please, remeber that we are here to help you with the necessary documents and with the process.

There is an opportunity to obtain study visas to Slovakia also on the basis of learning an accredited Slovak language course at the university.
